Taco Salad


  • 1 pound (450g) ground beef or turkey
  • 1 packet of taco seasoning
  • 4 cups shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, Monterey Jack, or a blend)
  • 1 cup crushed tortilla chips
  • Salsa or dressing of your choice


  • In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef or turkey until browned and cooked through. Drain any excess grease.
  • Add the taco seasoning to the cooked ground meat, following the instructions on the packet. Stir well to coat the meat with the seasoning.
  • In a large bowl, layer the shredded lettuce, cooked meat mixture, diced tomatoes, shredded cheese, and crushed tortilla chips.
  • Drizzle salsa or dressing of your choice over the salad. You can use store-bought dressings like ranch, chipotle, or salsa verde, or make your own.
  • Toss the ingredients gently to combine them and evenly distribute the flavors.
  • Serve the Taco Salad immediately as a flavorful and satisfying meal.
