  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper (adjust to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon dried herbs (such as thyme, rosemary, or Italian seasoning)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Juice of 1 lemon

  • Season the chicken breasts on both sides with salt, black pepper, and dried herbs.
  • Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Place the seasoned chicken breasts in the skillet and sear them for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they develop a golden brown crust.
  • Squeeze the fresh lemon juice evenly over the chicken breasts.
  • Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and no longer pink in the center.
  • Remove the skillet from the oven and let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.
  • Serve the One-Pan Lemon Herb Chicken with your choice of sides, such as roasted vegetables, steamed rice, or a fresh salad.
